When we say Divvy is groundbreaking, we’re usually talking about our platform and all the innovative ways it makes spending and expense management easier. This time, we’re talking about today’s groundbreaking ceremony for Divvy HQ—our new headquarters in Draper, Utah.

The event started with a brief address from Divvy CEO and Co-Founder Blake Murray and VP of People and Places Casey Bailey. It ended with Blake taking the first dig at the building foundation with an excavator.

Located at 13705 South 200 West in Draper, Divvy HQ will be a glass and steel office building with approximately 150,000 square feet of creative and flexible spaces designed to support the way our teams work—and to accommodate our exponential growth.

Our employee headcount grew more than 500% in 2018. The Divvy People and Places team estimates our current staff of 230 will double before we move into the new building sometime in the summer of 2020.
